Part of my problem with this product is the sizing; it was too large, and so any fit problems might be just because it was the wrong size. It fits very baggily through the torso, and is oddly bulgy in the middle. I am sure the sweater performs well, but the fabric feels disconcertingly thin. The zippered pockets are a nice touch. The inside is slightly scratchy; wear a full layer underneath. This sweater fits in the gap between not technical enough for intense use and not styled enough for casual wear. A fine sweater, but not recommended.

I do not recommend this product.

I was looking for a hoodie that had pockets and not made of fleece. I was happy to come across this one, as it is comfortable, fits well, and comes in a variety of colors.

I would recommend this product.

I'll begin with the sizing. I am 5'9" 175-180 and the medium size fits perfectly. I usually wear a large in Mountain hardware gear but this hoodie runs on the larger side.

The zipper runs smoothly and is easy to clasp, even with light gloves on. The material is very soft and warm. This hoodie combined with the Integral long sleeve base layer by MH easily stand up to temperatures as low as the teens if walking around. The wind can still bite through though.

Not mentioned or shown in the description: There are two inside pockets and the zipper will zip completely up the face of the hood. You can actually zip your head up in the hood.

This hoodie is great for any normal day activities or for taking walks or short hikes. I use this as my daily warm layer on fair weather days in Antarcitca, and I just throw a shell or heavy fleece over it if the wind picks up.

Loved the jacket! Quality felt was superior. Great hoodie that zips all the way up, and thus offering excellent coverage. Returned it because it felt more baggy and the length of the sleeves felt a little longer on the large size that the several other MH ones I own. Maybe I should have tried an M, but I've always been an L with this brand.

I like using wool, although this jacket is heavy for field use compared to fleece and puffies.

A very comfortable jacket

That jacket is so comfortable, I traveld in it all day and didn't take it off. Mountain hardware mastered the comfort and insulation combo with this jacket.

Mazeno Sweater Hoody

The blend of wool, recycled wool, and some synthetic fibers helps this garment hold it's shape a lot better than your standard cashmere sweater. The pockets are lined with some very soft moleskin-like material that's quite comfy on cold hands. Flat seams and zippers are a welcome and sought after feature. This is a well engineered garment that can be worn in everyday situations without looking too technical.

Odd but comfy

I wasn't aware that the hood zips all the way up and at first it seemed very odd but then the weather turned cold and I saw the beauty of keeping my precious body heat traped inside. It's very sweater-like in it's feel but not itchy. So far so good.
